The procedures pertaining to permanent makeup were first seen around the beginning of the 20th century. In the early 1930s; tattoo artist George Burchett laid the foundation for the process of applying tattooed permanent eyeliner, lip liner, eyebrows and less noticeable applications. Burchett is considered to be the forerunner in this field.  He figured out how to use dyes derived from vegetables and to Inject the dye into the immediate top layers of the skin in order to create a better complexion for those who desired it.
 

Last year my son had reached the point where he knew it was time to cut his hair and gather it for donation into the system where it could be transformed into a wig for cancer patients who had lost their hair to chemo and radiation treatments.  I’m not kidding, he was both distraught at giving up his hair like Sampson was, and he was also ecstatic at giving his locks to someone who would need and appreciate the hair.

There are ‘on-the-go’ people who often don’t have the time to frequent a hairstyling salon, and there are people who are not mobile enough to always get out and have a comforting visit to the salon, so they do the next best thing (some might say better), and they arrange for the hairdresser to come to them. Disabilities, whether permanent or caused by a recent accident or illness and requiring a lengthy recovery time have discovered the mobile haircutting and spa services and a way to enjoy being pampered at home or in their recovery and living location.  Transportation is no longer an issue and hair, makeup and manicures are in the control of the person wanting personal services.
